Going in Blind!

So lately I’ve been on a kick of going in blind when it comes to reading books. What I mean by this, is that a much of the time this is the first time I’ve ever interacted with a book by whatever author I’m reading. Also, since it’s the first time interacting with any book from that author I’ve also been not reading summaries of the book before just reading it.

Since I’ve been doing this I have come across quite a few pleasant surprises, and admittedly, a few books that were not so good as well. This is also been a great way for me to step out of some of my genre preferences which usually include science fiction and primarily fantasy books.

Tom Vater has become one of my top authors here recently, as an example since I’ve been reading through his asia-based books as well as some that are more like a detective Thriller mystery style of books. You can check out my reviews for some of his books and some of my other posts as well as be on the lookout for more reviews coming soon.

I’m also trying to catch up in between book tours of some book reviews that I probably should have had done a long time ago.

Currently I have been reading Blind Site by, Andrew Van Wey. I like to think that I’m about 50% done with it and so far I have enjoyed it immensely. It is very thrilling but to know more you’re going to have to read my review once I’m finished.

Also be sure to check out an upcoming book tour by Storytellers on Tour for the book The Secret of the Sword by, Sean R. Bell.

Have you ever going in blind before when choosing a book? If so what are some of the favorite ones that you have read and what are some of the ones that you were like eh, not so good?

Until next time,
